As has always been the case, anything is fair game on the independent scene. Wrestlers looking to make a few extra bucks will try just about anything to get ahead. They dress up like chickens, mummies, and Three Stooges imitators. And then there’s The Bug.

I haven’t found out much about this wingless wonder, but in the early 90’s he managed Psycho Capone, was part of Killer Kowalski's IWF and was in actuality wrestling photographer/journalist Donny Laible.

Oh, and he carried a fly-swatter around with him. That’s right. To get the point across that he was, in fact, The Bug, he carried around a fly-swatter. The Undertaker had a golden urn. Jake Roberts had a pythong. The Bug had a .35 cent fly-swatter. Of course, this was in the days of Arachniman and the Red Rooster. What some people will do for a paycheck…
