All the research over the past few months has turned up little on this pretty face. Apparently, The Monster was portrayed in the 70’s Los Angeles territory by a guy named Tony Rodriguez. Outside of that...nothing. Though probably not, this just might be the earliest “Frankenstein” gimmick in wrestling. At least two more followed: Dr. Frank and Frankenstein, both in the Memphis area. Somehow, it’s one of the few monster gimmicks that didn’t carry over into the Japanese feds.
