Before he showed up to help out his good buddy Hulk Hogan in McMahonland, this guy was playing a refugee from the Village People in the Memphis area. To make matters worse, his tag partner was the Dusty Rhodes rip-off Dirty Rhodes.

Anyway, during his Tennessee days, he was a long way from his good ol’ boy ways, and was just your average trash-talking biker thug. Then old Vinnie Mac gave him a call, and before anyone knew it, the world was blessed with the arrival of Hillbilly Jim (and in succession, Uncle Elmer, Cousins Luke and Junior, and, in spirit, The Godwinns). Joy for us.
