in 1975. Easy Ed had a unique, laid back persona, which was rare
for a 70's heel wrestler. Wrestled as The Polish Prince, and as
Colonel DeBeers in AWA. Retired from wrestling. Currently lives
in Oregon. |

in mid 80s Central States. Central States Title and Tag Title holder.
Originally appeared as part of the tag team "Uptown Boys"
in 84. Memorable feud with Bob Brown in 85. Went on to large scale
recognition teaming with Shawn Michaels as The Rockers in late 80s-early
90s WWF. Currently wrestling on occasional indies in the South. Resides
in Florida. |

ANGUS
Numerous tours throughout the 70s, first as a heel and later as
a face. Also wrestled in other regions as Rasputin. Retired from wrestling.
Rumored to currently work as a forest ranger in New Zealand. |

KIRBY
The
Nature Boy was a mainstay of Central States wrestling in the late
60s through the mid 70s. Returned in early 80s. Longest reign of any
Central States Champion (1970). Retired from wrestling, living in
Kansas City. |

STOMPER (Archie Gouldie)
Numerous
tours in the Central States
during
the mid to late 60s and early 70s. Originally a heel, but worked as
a very popular face in the early 70's. Also known as The Mongolian
Stomper throughout the US and Canada. Currently resides in Tennessee,
where he trains police officers. |

OMAR
ATLAS
Popular
high flying face from 1971-1975. Known as Buddy Moreno in Los Angeles
and Southern U.S. territories in the late 60s. Rumored to be the brother
of Ciclon (cyclone) Negro (Omar Negro). Last time I saw Omar wrestle
was late 80s WWF TV, jobbing to Randy Savage. Living in San Antonio,
TX. |

PAT
O' CONNOR
Former NWA World Champion who was a mainstay in Central States from
the 60s through the 80s.Co owner of the Central States promotion (Heart
Of America Sports) along with Bob Geigel and Harley Race. Pat died
in 1990 at the age of 65. |

DEWEY
ROBERTSON
Appeared
as both Dewey Robertson and The Missing Link in the 80s. Currently
resides in Canada, where he runs a wrestling school. |

KEN
RAMEY and THE INTERNS
One of the most memorable of all tag teams to appear in the Central
States promotion. Held the tag titles 3 times during their 1974-75
run. The Interns were Tom Andrews and Jim Starr. Andrews returned
in '76 (after the team left the promotion in '75) as Super Intern,
and appeared throughout the late 70s and early 80s as Tom Andrews
after being unmasked. Ramey lives in Louisiana, Andrews lives in the
KC area, Starr's whereabouts are unknown. |

TIMBS
Singles and tag title holder in the early through late 80s. Timbs
went on to become a top wrestler in Mexico after leaving the territory.
Currently living in Atlanta, GA, and involved (along with former Central
States & WWF wrestler Dusty Wolfe) with the site oldschool-wrestling.com. |

SATO
Central States regular throughout the 70s and 80s. Sato was a member
of the original Orient Express in the WWF. Currently lives in Kansas
City, married to former wrestler Betty Niccoli. |

Central States champ in 76-77. Older brother of Robert Gibson. Currently
living in Florida. |

SLICK
Memorable heel manager. Went on to manage in the WWF. Slick is now
a minister in Dallas. |

Twins Brad and Bart had numerous runs as tag champs in 80's. Residing
in West Virginia. |
