• Bob Brown wins CS Title from Dundee in KC (2-27)...On the same card, Rick McCord & Bart Batten win tag straps from Mod Squad
• Kansas City's weekly Memorial Hall cards move to Fridays and attendance drops. Cards move back to Thursday's in late Spring

APRIL, MAY, and JUNE
• Tag titles held up following a controversial match between champions Batten & McCord vs Cash & Timbs in KC on April 3rd. Cash & Timbs win the the belts in a rematch 1 week later (4-10)

MATCH RESULTS April 24, 1987 in KC...Vinnie Valentino wins 7 man Battle Royal, Earthquake Ferris w Steve Sybert, Rip Rogers w Dave Peterson, Valentino w Steve Estes, Joe Lightfoot w Warlord DQ, Rufus R Jones w Bob Brown in a Texas Death match to earn a CS Title match, Cash & Timbs w Bart Batten & Ric McCord (tag Title defense)

• Bart Batten & Ric McCord are forced to break up as a team in accordance with the stipulations of a Southern Streetfight match they lose to Ken Timbs & Porkchop Cash in KC (4-24)
• Rufus R Jones wins CS belt from Brown in KC (5-21)
• Ken Timbs leaves area, tag titles vacant
• Warlord & Karl Kovac win vacant tag titles in Wichita tourney (6-8)...Later in the month, Bobby Jaggers & Brad Batten are given the titles when Warlord leaves the area and Kovac is fired. Team splits up later in the month

JULY, AUGUST, and SEPTEMBER
• Porkchop Cash wins CS title from Rufus in St Joe (7-10)...Rufus regains title on July 17
• Batten Brothers are declared tag champs when Brad defeats Bobby Jaggers in a "winner gets tag titles" match in KC (8-6)
• Earthquake Ferris wins CS belt from Rufus in Des Moines (9-27)

OCTOBER, NOVEMBER, and DECEMBER
• Bob Brown wins his 17th and final CS title from Ferris in St. Joe (10-30)
• Porkchop Cash & Rick McCord win tag belts from Battens in Versailles, MO (11-9)
• Montana Cowboys (Mike Stone & Rick Patterson) win tag belts in KC (11-26)
Rip Rogers wins TV Title in Des Moines (11-28)...Rogers quits the promotion in December, and Mike George is given the belt
• Dave Peterson wins CS title from Brown in St Joe (12-25)
