Records concerning
the tag titles are incomplete in the first part of 1976. After Bob Geigel
and Akio Sato defeated Dutch Mantell
& Ron Bass in February,
the next title change shows Tank Patton & Super Intern winning
the titles from
Sato & Pat O' Connor in June. The titles were apparently vacated soon
after, as Gordman & Goliath won a tourney in July for the vacated
titles.

• Mike George wins CS title from Easy Ed in St Joe (2-7)
• Bob Geigel & Akio Sato win tag belts from Mantell & Bass in
St. Joseph (2-19)
APRIL,

• Bob Brown defeats George for CS title in Wichita (4-10) ; George
regains title 1 week later
• Brown regains CS belt in Topeka (5-18)
• Black Gordman & Goliath debut for a 3-4 month tour
• Super Intern and Ox Baker debut

• Race wins CS title from Brown in KC (7-8)
• Black Gordman & Goliath win tourney for vacated tag titles in KC
(7-29)
• DI Bob Slaughter debuts
• Brown regains CS title from Race in Wichita (9-5)
• Mad Dog Vachon & Baron Von Raschke win tag titles from Goliath
& Gordman in KC (9-30)
